Raisin TexasBubbas on RiceCereal N Peaches!!!

For Thirty-eight years the Raggedy Ann and Andy plate and silver spoon has served Rice Cereal and Peaches for Breakfast to my Babies!

A few things have changed in those thirty-eight years.  Like the Rice Cereal and Peaches containers.   I remember the cereal in a box and the peaches in a jar.

Some things never change for Breakfast at Nana's.  We still need a Bib and a spoon and a Baby.

I just happen to have everything needed for a Rice Cereal and Peaches Breakfast this MarchMornin!

Yep, The Two Bubba's had a sleep over at Nana and Papa's, and it's always time for the Raggedy Plate and little silverware for breakfast.

The BigBubba has graduated from Rice Cereal to Biscuits and Gravy and takes his Milk straight outta the jug!

The BabyBubba takes his powdered milk mixed with water, shaken...not stirred...and straight outta the Bottle.

Yep, this Girl Raised in Texas has been raisin Little Texans on Rice Cereal, Peaches, Biscuits N Gravy and Lots of Texas Lovin!

Today, I'm joining MizMollye for Fragment Friday Memories!

This special little Blast from the Past Memory sure started my Friday out with a Smile remembering ExtraBigBubba, and fixin his sons... BigBubba and BabyBubba their Rice Cereal and Peaches on the RaggedyPlate!

  1. Hi Sue! LOVED this post, as always! Love the Raggedy Ann & Andy plate! I have a cereal-sized bowl with these sweet little characters on it, made plastic (melmac?).. It has a crack in it, but I just couldn't part with it when it came time for the move back in October. It HAD to come with me and my Raggedy Ann dolls!.. The grandsons are cute! How very lucky and blessed you are to have them! ((hugs)) ~tina

  2. Oh Sue Sweetie...
I adore this post. Isn't this the truth. How things have changed. Scoop, Add, Shake and Stir. Not only that but remember the glass baby bottles?

I too remember cereal in a box. Now it comes in containers. I have watched the changes with each one of almost 8 grandchildren. Every one something else changes.

I have a Sesame Street plate around her for my babies. I have had it for a very long time.

Thanks for sharing today. What a walk of change. Love the pictures of the grands too. So precious they are.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  3. Yep. A sweet fragment indeed. You got some mighty sweet lil bubbas and I bet the big un is a sweetie too! Heck I can remember the days when I WISHED I could have gone out and bought the rice cereal and peaches. But my bubbas and bubbettes all got growed somehow even on the days of grits, gravy made with drippins from the night before and some handmade biskits, even when they were still takin their milk from the jug and some even from momma's juggies! whoo hoo. A tad TMI, huh! luvs ya, Mollye
