    2. Hi Sue! Thanks for stopping by earlier. This theme sounds interesting! I wasn't born yet during the 50s or 60s (I'm almost 19 now), so this'll be an interesting trip back in time for me!

    1. So far, Hilary, it has been a trip down memory lane for me as I have gone through Mother's Shoebox of photos. It is amazing how a photo can revive thoughts and details long forgotten. It's been somewhat nostalgic and emotional writing the posts, but I think my family, and hopefully the AtoZ Readers, will be entertained and get a feel for 'The Way It Was'. You're welcome for the Signature Link How To.

  5. This sounds like a fun theme. Nostalgia and personal history can be an interesting topic. You might be gathering info for a future memoir as well!

    1. You are right, Arlee....it has been a fun theme to explore, remember and write. So much of it from a collection of photos my mother had saved from the 1950's. Many of them I had not seen before. And, yes, I have hopes it will be a memoir to share with my siblings and other family members. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Ooh that should be an interesting theme. While I don't want to show the age difference, my knowledge of the 50s and 60s is based on telly so this should be much more interesting. :)

    1. LOL...I don't know if my 50's and 60's will give Leave It To Beaver or Grease a run for the money, but it will be entertaining. I have been amazed at how big the Retro Graze has been with this 21st Century Generation. That has given me a whole different perspective on living the Retro Years.

  12. This should bring back some memories. I was pretty young during the sixties but I adored my older, worldly sisters. Their hair-styles and rebel music.

    1. One of the most fun things has been the discovery of the photos. Many I had not seen before, but luckily they brought back memories of the people, places and events. I wonder if my Mother had any idea this would happen...her photos...my stories...LOL!

  18. Sue I am astounded. Great subject...liked trying to link the letters to the relevant objects in the photo and your back ROCKS! (I just saw Despicable Me for the first time yesterday and couldn't stop laughing.) Looking forward to minionizing with you!

    1. Oh Good, LuAnn...I'm so glad you like my theme and took a turn at putting together the Titles and Photos. My background as it turns out was not all that hard to customize in blogger's advanced settings. I had to practice though to get it the right size. Despicable Me....omgosh that is such a cute movie...I just love that little 'OneGoggle Guy', so when I saw the 'OneGoggle Gal', I knew her name had to be Sue. Can't wait for the Minionism to begin. Thanks so much for visiting.
