Z is for Zoom Zoom Zoom

Zoom is defined as making a low pitched buzzing or humming sound.
Appropriate for my  subject...Garfield....who's a low pitched purrrrrrrrer!
Zoom is also defined in photographic terms as being able to change the focal length of a zoom lens
so as to change the apparent distance of the object being viewed!
So here's Garfield in ZoomX3 Focal Lengths...

My Camera is a Nikon Coolpix L100 with 15X Zoom...#1.  I call her NeatONikon.
She has a menu selection of auto shooting modes from closeup to action shots to wide angle.
The Zoom Lens is built right in and has Auto Focus...EZ and User Friendly!
Much of my Zoom Zoom Zoom is done in Editing.  I Edit in Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery and Paint.
My 'Dream Super NeatONikon' is shown in Group #2.
The lenses are detatachable, and as you can see there are just a few Zoom lenses from which to choose.

Now for a Few More Zoom Zoom Zoom Photos

  9. I wonder what Garfield was thinking as you zoomed in on him? He looks like he is just saying "oh well, there she goes again" and putting up with it! I'm looking at new cameras now and considering the Nikon. It's nice to see that it zooms so well! Linda

  18. Sue,

Love your zoom! I had a cat that looked like Garfield and HER name was Princess Mouse. I am going to try zooming in a program. I have the Canon Rebel but I am finding the color not to be true and I am having to correct it whereas my other camera - perfect shots every time.

  22. I too am a Nikon girl, started with a N-80 years ago and now have a D-90 with lots of different lens, my favorite is my 18-200 and my 50 mm. I bought all of my lens and my camera on ebay and have been so pleased plus I did not pay the 'brand-new" prices. Your photos are terrific and I enjoyed looking at yours. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  26. That is some very impressive photography, & I can't believe Garfield sat still for you to take those shots. Mine grabs for the camera, then starts rolling around doing her "cute" acts. LOL!!! They are treasures, aren't they?

    Loved those vintage clothing pieces.
