The Acorn China Cabinet 's Pink Collection

Presenting the China Cabinet's Prize Pink Pirkenhammer Plate.
Perfect timing for Pink Saturday and start of the Holiday Festivities.
Although the Prize Pink Pirkenhammer Plate has NEVER had ANY Holiday Food exposure!

Pirkenhammer is a trade mark of porcelain, produced in Březová, Karlovy Vary, since 1803.   My plate has a Hallmark that suggests it was made between 1918 - 1938 in Czechoslovakia according to the Hallmarks by the makers of Pirkenhammer.  In my search on the www, the closest pattern to this piece was valued at $95.
The most interesting bit of History on this Trademarked Bohemian Porcelan is the story of the Plate that survived the Titanic.  You can read about that HERE.

Now, my Favorite and OftenUsed Platter is the Betsy Rose made by Harmony House in the good ole USA.
It's Hallmark is Stamped and Numbered 4689 and is Ovenproof, Crazeproof and Detergentproof.
You can get one right now on Ebay for as little as $6 or as much as $16...HERE.  Really!
Pictured with the Betsy Rose are several pieces of Fenton serving pieces in the Silver Crest Pattern.

I tell Ya'll, it's hard to find anything prettier than a Pink Rose.  Isn't this one a Beauty?

Everyone knows that Pink Saturday Hostess Beverly at How Sweet The Sound is the Rose Queen of Blogland.

Be sure to stop in at How Sweet The Sound, say Howdy to Beverly and visit the Pinkie List.

And a Special Howdy to the Cowgirl Apronista Lynn at The Vintage Nest!
Doesn't she look like a True Texan in that Cowgirl Apron?
Yep, Lynn, I hereby DubYa Honoree Texan!
