Now, about how I know MODA.
Once upon a time I was the proprietor of 'Sue's Quilt Shop' and MODA was one of my Fabric and Notions Suppliers. The warehouse in Dallas was one of my FAVORITE places to go several times a year. Let me tell you, it is a Quilters Dream Come True!!! I learned SEW MUCH from MODA about the Business of Being a Quilt Shop Owner, Quality Fabrics, Patterns and Books, and SEW MUCH more.
You'll love MODA's Website and Blog....I know Sew So!!!!
Oh I love Moda. They capture vintage so very well!

ReplyDeleteI found your comment about my daughter and I looking like sisters.
I am very flattered and THANK you.
Uh - - - I'm not so sure she will be so happy to look like a sister to her old mama.
Hehehehehehe
Wow, I didn't know MODA was in Dallas. I will have to check that out. I really like your blog header pictures. Very Christmasy!
ReplyDeleteYes, Deborah, MODA's Warehouse is United Notions in Dallas. Google them for the Map...they are on Hutton Drive which is sort of a warehouse area.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked my Christmas Header. A few of the Christmas Quilts I have made over the years.
I am working on my first Moda jelly roll quilt right now! I'm loving it! Is the warehouse open to the public? I'm only an hour from Dallas.
ReplyDeleteMissy...I'm not sure what their policy is for the public since I was a quilt shop owner. You could give them a call or visit their website to find out.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be working on a MODA Jelly Roll. Their fabrics are FABULOUS! Hope you will show it when finished.
