  1. It has been wacky weather hasn't it!! Its going to be in the high 60's here in Kansas this week--I remember snow blizzards just a few years ago at this time. Beautiful roses - enjoy them while you can and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Texas Friend.

  5. Well, Mother Nature is a girl, and a girl has the privilege of being a bit changeable. No roses here, but lots of lovely fat rose hips.

  7. I also noticed that many of the roses in the neighborhood were blooming when we returned from our long vacation. Guess Mother Nature can change her mind if she wants. Maybe the dry hot weather had something to do with it.

Isn't that the truth about our weather?! Our yard is shot. I hear the drought could go til 2020? What?!?!?! I sure hope not. We're on big time watering restrictions as is. We had 1/2 inch rain the other day and the following morning, someone was burning something. Crazy! Burn ban is SO important to follow! Anyway, your roses are beautiful, no b-e-a-u-ti-ful! Enjoy them! Enjoyed my visit! Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Thanksgiving! Jenn

  12. You have such a green thumb Sue. These are beautiful.

When we sold the homestead I dug up my mother's pink rose. It doesn't do too well for me. But once a year it grows a single pink rose. Almost like she's telling me I'm still here!~Happy Thanksgiving!~Ames

  14. Gorgeous roses! The best thing about living in a tropical country like mine, is, flowers bloom all year long.

  15. Love the roses! The weather here in New Hampshire has also been very strange, and in October my neighbor had the most beautiful roses until the Halloween blizzard froze them all! We were all out photographing them just days before.

yep....we got 'em too....pink roses in November. Picked one yesterday evening and plopped it in a single bud vase and set it by the kitchen sink for all my Thanksgiving company to enjoy. How have you been Sue. Haven't seen you in a while. Miss you. Hope you and yours have a wonderful day tomorrow. xo
