First Snow?...Sleet?...White Stuff In West Texas

Not Exactly SNOW... more like SLEET ... nope, it's more like SNOW... Oh well ... It's White Stuff!

I know most of you are sick and tired of SNOW and ICE, but this is our
 First White Stuff of the New Year, so hang with me through this

    We were just saying...snow is a part of life. Not much we can do about so might as well relax. Just hope the lights stay on!!;-)

  5. We have it here as well. I am not getting out in it like you. I do not handle cold weather very well. Heat never bothers me. Be careful.

  8. Wow - you really did get some weather. I love the snow rose - that photo is a keeper.
    We are having cold and sunny weather here, and a little walk before noon showed me that there are daffodils now poking through the soil. I'm taking lots of little walks as my Great Dane recovers slowly, slowly.

  9. Love the pictures! We have 2-3 inches of Ice! Last weekend it was in the low to mid 70's. Welcome Super Bowl Fans.

  10. Sue, no white stuff here yet, but they say we may get some. Just finished covering things in the garden, again. I had folded the garden blankets and put them away this weekend. We've had such warm temps this past week.

  11. WOW Snow in Texas. Lovely picutres. Guess it's cold everywhere. We are expecting below freezing temps here in the desert. Spring needs to get here soon.

  12. Well it is Winter so I guess we shouldn't complain. We're supposed to get .75 in of ice overnight.
