The Turkeys Speak Gobble...We have never understood why Ya'll roast the TURKEY
and shuck the corn and crisp the croutons and shell the peas and candy the sweets
and compote the cranberries and bake the pies and clear the table
and wash the dishes and fall into bed when...
Ya'll could sit back and enjoy a HAMBURGER!
HiHoney and I wish Ya'll a

ReplyDeleteI bagged a Butterball at Kroger! Wooo Hooo. Can't wait to dig in tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHave a bountiful day tomorrow!
Didn't have to bag a turkey this year. My Son's family is hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I'm making the pies and didn't even have to shell the pecans. I'm using my Aunt Mildred's pecan pie recipe. My son requested homemake pecan. The pumpkin pie was made by Marie and came from the freezer to the oven to the table.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving.
I have such a bad cold that I can't seem to get myself to bake pies right now. Waiting for inspiration! I hope you and HiHoney have a lovely day! (BIG TURKEY HUG!)

Hey, you're a pretty good shot with that camera. I bagged a Jennie-O Turkey at the market, roasted her, added all the trimmings including Pecan pie, Pumpkin pie and Strawberry Cheesecake~~~all made from scratch...yumyum...the family filled up tonight so tomorrow Mama goes shopping while the boys still try to bag a buck.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving and
