Yep, I Googled this Gobbler! Sure was ShockedPink, too! Who knew?
Now, in the search for 'All Things Turkey',
I was 'ShellShocked' to find a 'SeaShell Turkey'!
Now that's some 'Clever Crafters'

This Turkey gives new meaning to

Another 'Clever Crafter'!
HEB, a Texas Food Chain Store, stocks so many Turkeys for Thanksgiving
that they make this offer...
'Buy A Spiral Ham and Get A 10 lb. Turkey for Free!
What I really like about buying Turkey and Ham at HEB is that you don't have to...
~ Chase down and chop off the Turkey's head
~ Boil water and pluck off the feathers...that so does not smell good enough to eat!
~ Clean out the guts!
....you get the picture....and I won't even go there with Butcher'n a Hog!
Besides, who could even eat Ham after seeing this cute, underweight Pink Porky?
Not even if you have Two Pink Porkys!
Now it's time to 'Fly' over to Pink Saturday's Hostess Beverly at How Sweet The Sound, and Spread The Pink Love to All the Pinkies.

I don't think it's the turkey that sings to my soul at Thanksgiving dinner - it's the gravy. Divine. Your turkey talk is brilliant as always, Sue!

Hello Collectin Texas Gal. I can't tell you how sorry I am I didn't visit you on pink Sat. I was in Fl. at a Gator football game. We won.
ReplyDeleteJust look at what I MISSED. Your turkeys are terrific and pink?? who knew! I would buy a ham to get a turkey in a minute. I do know all about turkeys be killed and cleaned for Thanksgiving dinner. I lived on a farm when I was a kid. My grandfather was a butcher and I once watched him butcher chickens, turkeys, a pig, a cow and the only thing I didn't want to watch was a few white bunnies. My Uncles owned an IGA grocery store and since his sons owned the store he was the butcher. I was 13 when I saw this happen. UGH! what a silly girl. I just wanted to know how the meat got to the store. It was a one time show. HA!
Have a happy Texas day.
Hugs, Jeanne
I love that pink turkey! But then I love all turkeys. I think they're cute. When I see wild ones as I'm driving along I always slow down to watch them. Fun post! Twyla
ReplyDeleteI was out of town last weekend and missed seeing this. Love your sense of humor. This is great! ~ Sarah
